“Disciplinary Probation (Level I) is defined as: A specified period of official censure and heightened scrutiny of the student’s behavior time during which a student is given the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to abide by the community’s minimum expectations of behavior articulated in the Student Code of Conduct. If a student is found responsible for another violation of the Code during this period, it may result in increased sanctions up to and including suspension or expulsion. A student may be required to meet periodically with a Dean (or other University official) during their period of probation.

“Disciplinary Probation (Level II)” A specified period of time during which a student is given the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to abide by the community’s minimum expectations of behavior articulated in the Student Code of Conduct. Any further violation of the Student Code of Conduct puts the student’s status with the University in jeopardy. If the student is found “responsible” for another violation of the Code during this period, serious consideration will be given to imposing an outcome of suspension or expulsion. A student may be required to meet periodically with a Dean (or other University official) during their period of probation.
